I'm very busy right now, I'm way behind on my flist, and I haven't replied to comments in a while. I hope I'll get back to LJ in a while, but for now I'm on a (brief, I hope) LJ hiatus.

I haven't had time to read this whole piece yet, but what I read (or scanned, more like it) so far was interesting. Boy, did I recognize much of it, even though I don't follow the shows the author refers to.
Canon sucks.

This is just a very quick fly-by to wish Pali the bestest birthday ever! I hope your day is great, filled with squee and that someone who is better with graphics than I am gives you lots of piloty and/or SPN goodness!

(Lame, I know, but this is really all I have time for today.)

I'll be free in 3 hours! I still have plenty of things to finish before I leave for my vacation, but I have gotten so much done today. Just taking an itty-bitty break to post this.

I just listened to the Depeche Mode album Violator (one of my all-time favorites), and the song Halo. That made me think of that fanvid with Beyoncé's song Halo, which in turn made me think of the lyrics to the Depeche Mode song from a shipper perspective. I think this song would make a great Kara vid. Since I don't know anything about vidding and don't have the time or inclination to learn right now, I thought I'd post about it here and see if anyone else likes the idea. The song is kind of slow-paced, definitely not up-beat.

Today there was an article about slash in Dagens Nyheter, the largest newspaper in Sweden. Way cool. The journalist wrote about the phenomenon as such but also focused on Star Trek, especially the new movie. She referenced several stories and a community here on LJ. What makes me most happy about this is that it's published in the literature section, not the pop culture one.

This weeks prompt at bsg_100 was changes. I tried to write a drabble, but it just refused to adhere to exactly 100 words. I have finally given up and am posting it here on my own LJ instead.
